La Villa Pérochon joins forces with Moulin du Roc to launch the Depardon cinéaste cycle. Presented by Les films du Losange, this retrospective is a national event spanning over 6 months, focusing on an emblematic figure in documentary cinema and photography. Around 4 themes (Depardon citoyen, Depardon paysan, Depardon photographe, Depardon et l’Afrique), (re)discover seven films by the director/photographer throughout the Rencontres at Moulin du Roc. La Vie moderne is Raymond Depardon and Claudine Nougaret’s latest documentary about farmers. Drawing on their own experience, they capture the authenticity of peasants in a way rarely seen in cinema. This moving film speaks with great serenity about our roots and the future of the people of the land.
