Artist Residency
Les eaux du bord

From 17 March
To 26 September

Les eaux du bord is an itinerant residency combining photography, sound and video, exploring the Marais Poitevin in soft mobility with the Fusées collective.

The Fusées collective

Founded in 2011 and based in Grenoble, its scope of action covers both rural and urban areas. It sees artistic creation and social innovation as intimately linked.
The Collectif Fusées settles in a territory (material and immaterial) with an ordinary word to transform into a jubilant collective work. By shifting the industrial or plant environment, the “Fusées” trace a poetic imaginary. Landscapes are a natural stage on which we bring spectators to discover our works (stories, installations, projections, live art).

Simon Pochet is a sound designer and documentary filmmaker.
Emmanuelle Baud is a video and visual artist.
Pascal Auclair is a director, visual artist and geo-artist.

Artist Residencies

Aboard an electric barge, a living and creative space, the trio of artists travel the Marais Poitevin along the water’s edge. Sailing, walking, listening, observing… Emmanuelle, Pascal and Simon collect sounds, images, objects, stories and sensations along the way. They draw inspiration from what they pass through – but also from what passes through them – to create sensitive, immersive works.

Water as a common thread
Visible or hidden, water structures the landscapes of the Marais. It is at the heart of this artistic approach, mirroring the ecological and social transformations of the area.

Get involved!

The artists of the Fusées collective invite you to join them on their journey along the water from September 15 to 26!

Departure into the unknown… VOTE for the next leg of the journey!
After Bazoin, 3 paths are open to our freshwater marine artists: the choice is yours! Share your memories of the marsh, a story that’s close to your heart. These stories will help the artists choose the direction of their journey.
